With the way the economy is these days it is getting harder to make ends meet. We receive many calls a week from people looking for help for a horse with problems or that they cant sell or afford. Sadly we cant take them all. For the ones we can take we put the work and money into them to solve their problems and once again give them value so they can find a forever home. Our horses are here until they are ready for a job and have proven they have no issues. The cost of keeping the horses can be high but we believe the best way to keep them out of the cycle is to solve their problems. In some cases that can be a long time. The only way we can continue to provide our service is from contributions from people like you.

Driven Heroes Equine Assisted Therapies, Inc. is a non profit public charity and is tax exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal revenue Code. Contributions to us are deductible under section 170 of the code.We can receive tax deductible gifts, bequest, devices, and transfers under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code. We became tax exempt on November 12th, 2009. For more information on tax deductible donations consult your tax advisor.

Any donation helps. We can use almost any equine related item ourselves or pass it along to other non-profits. We always have to buy feed, farrier services and vet care for the horses, as well as paying a property lease, upkeep and utilities. None of the officers of Driven Heroes are paid for what they do and all of the daily operations are handled by volunteers. All the monies raised go to the animals and our programs, they are the reasons we do it. The income from our boarding program, trail rides and other activities go straight into the farm. There are no other beneficiaries.Of the 17 horses less than a third are boarders. The others are all used for our other community programs or are here until they are ready for a new home.
